Biography

Light-drenched.
And alive.

With work described as vibrant, spontaneous, evocative, and filled with light, Doug has spent more than three decades creating award-winning imagery for Audi, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Amazon, Discovery, Coca-Cola, Hershey’s, the Smithsonian Institution, Children’s National Hospital, People, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, and many other national and regional organizations.

A former U.S. Navy combat and intelligence photographer who held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, top graduate of the U.S. Navy School of Photography, and honors graduate of the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photographic Art and Science, Doug has received numerous ADDY awards for his commercial work, the World Image Award in Fine Art Photography, and a Lifetime Art Directors Club award.
